Þórsmörk Tour/ Thorsmork
Green valleys – Glacier rivers – waterfalls
Þórsmörk is a valley named after  Þór  (Thor ) the god of  Thunder, this valley is an oasis because of it's unique location between 3 glaciers. Þórsmörk has it's own weather system due to the shelter provided from the glaciers and mountains on all sides. This valley is a must for nature lovers.
The tour takes us to the beautiful waterfall Seljalandsfoss,  you can walk behind this waterfall.
From there we head to Gígjökul (glacier)  we drive across what used to be a glacial lagoon, this lagoon disappeared in the eruption in 2010. Then we will take a 5 minute hike to the foot of the glacier.
From here we make our way to Stakkholtsgjá (canyon) and take about 40 minute hike down to the bottom of the canyon.
Next stop is at Básar, here we take a quick brake to enjoy the scenery and use the restrooms if needed.
